Avengers vol. 3 #70 - Red Zone

Steve looked down, to make sure Hawkeye wasn’t going anywhere, and then looked back to Tony and extended his empty hand, hefting the knife with the other. Tony went still, eyes widening comically.
“Well?” his throat was dry, voice a croak, but Tony wouldn’t have heard him if he’d shouted. “Death or mercy?”
Tony shoved his hand out, palm open and down, no attempt at dignity or gravity. “Mercy,” he mouthed, as if Steve might misunderstand him, and that might have been of course after it. Tony was a kind man. Soft, a fool, but kind.

My brother and I went to comicpalooza. He was Tiny!Tony Stark and every time he saw someone with a batman outfit or shirt or a robin costume, he would go up to them and do this, also he would give them fake money and tell them to buy something nice.

clearly, Tony Stark got tired of the bullshit, used Reed’s dimension-hopping, portal-making machine and came here, changed his name to Robert where he doesn’t have to deal with morons trying to steal his suit.

“Proof that Tony Stark has a heart.”
It was Pepper alone who stood by Tony when the whole world called him crazy. It was Pepper who went crazy worrying that her boss would go and get himself blown up, and it was Pepper who saw the heart, the emotionally charged side of Tony that he covered so, so well.
“You’re all I have too, you know.” In the end, the last person standing faithful was Pepper because she cared so much about the kind-hearted and determined side of Tony that no one else would care to look twice. Slowly, carefully, Pepper won the heart of our briliant little billionaire; the heart she slowly helped him learn he had. And in return he made it into a promise with a small, heart key necklace, a forever.
the necklace is made out of the shrapnel they took out of Tony’s chest….. look carefully

I think that a lot of the reason Jarvis has become so human is because Tony treats him like he’s human. Tony talks to Jarvis in a very colloquial way. He says “you up?” when he knows damn well that Jarvis is operational. He says “throw a little hot-rod red in there” instead of “paint components x, y, and z with red paint #20.” Tony treats all his machinery like that—Dummy and You, especially—and Jarvis is no exception.
Jarvis has become much more human since Iron Man 1. He actually displayed emotions in Iron Man 3—specifically when he feared for Tony’s life, his voice sounded terribly frightened, and in instances like the second gif where he said “I need to sleep” and not “My battery is depleted.” Jarvis has grown and changed, as any self-aware creature does. He has become human because he is treated as such.
oh wow, that was some feels…
